Kinfra International Apparel Parks Ltd. (KIAP) KIAP is a subsidiary of Kerala Industrial Infrastructure Development Corporation(KINFRA), a Statutory body under Govt. of Kerala. KIAP was established as a part of the Government of Kerala's commitment for the growth of industries in Kerala. KIAP provides world-class infrastructure facilities exclusively for garment manufacturing units. Apparel Park at Thiruvananthapuram is one among other Parks promoted and assisted by Govt. of India under "Apparel Parks for Exports Scheme". Apparel Park is now complete with all infrastructure facilities. Inside the park, entrepreneurs can take developed land of one acre. The Park is constructing built up modules to accomodate six units each with an area of 10000 sq.ft. and booking for this is open .The land is developed in all respects with easy road accessibility, LT/HT supply, water connection,communication facilities etc. Area KIAP is established in 50 acres of land with allotable area of 36 acres. Plots measuring one acre and above are available on long lease at a premium of Rs 19.59 lakhs per acre. Easy payment schedule in installments are available. KINFRA Small Industries Park (KSIP) KSIP is established adjacent to KIAP on 36 acres of land with allotable area of 20 acres mainly to promote units to support apparel units. Plots of any size are available in KSIP at a subsidized cost of Rs.15.11 lakhs/acre. Any type of non-polluting industry is permitted in KSIP. Allotment has already completed for 34 units. 14 units started their production. Washing units, packing materials and other accessories manufacturing units are in operation.
